Dear Business Leader, In an era where the moral foundation of our great nation and preservation of our First Amendment right to free speech as Christians have become crucial issues in politics, it is critical that those who support the Christian foundations laid by our fathers let their voices be heard. As a republic, our most valuable voice rests in our right to vote for a representative government to determine law and policy which governs our nation. It was a calculated effort by our founding fathers to establish a republic form of government versus a democracy. In this effort our vote becomes our voice. The time is now for America to regain her moral compass. On January 7, 2010, ALS Ministries will be hosting area pastors/church leaders as we launch The Corinth Project and we need you to partner with us to make this event a success. The Corinth Project is an initiative of A Line in the Sand Ministries launched January 1, 2009. Its mission is to provide the mechanism for every Christian to be registered and informed on the local level. The uniqueness of The Corinth Project will create a paradigm shift in the way voter registrations are conducted. As the church we have been oblivious to the need of a systematic approach in ensuring everyone in the Christian community is given the opportunity to be registered to vote. The Corinth Project will be organizing voter registration drives to be held in churches and local businesses across our great nation every 5^th Sunday throughout the year. The predetermined date will provide an atmosphere of expectancy and convenience. The issue pieces will provide opportunities to engage the process in a unified voice. We believe this is the first step in reclaiming the voice of Christians throughout America. Your prayers and financial support are critical to launching and upholding our efforts. Right now, millions of dollars are being spent to remove God from our daily lives. Organizations like the A.C.L.U., Planned Parenthood, GLAAD and others have sought to rid America of any public mention of our God, normalize perversion, and justify the murder of unborn children. It is a tragedy that no Christian should accept. A sponsorship of $100.00 will include recognition on our website and at the event. Let’s be honest and transparent. Our nation is experiencing a turbulent economy that I believe is being fueled by the spirit of fear and apathy of Christians nationwide. As God’s children we can not succumb to that spirit. In times of economic instability our faithfulness is strengthen by our trust in God as our provider. Remember God prospers us not to raise our standard of living but to raise our standard of giving.
